upcoming events

Hello Ladies,
Just wanted to make you all aware of some fun upcoming events for TEAMS!!

(1) This Wednesday Sept 1st is the STUDIO Registration Open House from 5-8 pm
I am requesting that all Mesmerize Starzz Team Members are there to show support and excitement for the Studio.
Please wear your MC Dance Academy white t-shirt from last year, knee socks, and black shorts.

(2) On Thursday September 2nd there will be a combined practice for all Mesmerize Jazz Teams from 5:30-8:00 pm
we will be finishing learning "Fly on the Wall" (this routine will be performed at a half time on September 11th)

(3) Our first Official Team Performance is September 11th at a foot ball halftime for Craig Aguilar's Team.
The game starts at 10:30 am and we should be performing about 11:00 am.
I will need you to meet me there at 10 am so I can apply your team Halloween makeup.
I will have the address for you later and costume details in class.

Hello to all,
Cheer Team starts Tuesday!! Jazz Teams are Thursday!!

All Starzz Cheer will start 6:30-7:30 with warm up and tumbling
and then 7:30 until 9:00 for Cheer stunts and dance

Jazz teams:
Super Starzz 5:00-5:45 for warm up and technique
and then 5:45-6:30 for jazz
Midnight Starzz 6:45-7:30 for warm up and technique
and then 7:30-9:00 for jazz

On Tuesday there will be a brief practice to run through the dances that were learned from summer.
(Ballet, Hip Hop, Drill)
Ballet 5:30-5:50
Hip Hop 5:50-6:10
Drill 6:10-6:30

So this year is was a tight race!! Thank you to all that voted!
I am pleased to announce the Parents Club Officers for the 2010-2011 Dance Season!!

President - Eva Lopez
Vice President - Virginia Asay
Secretary - Lori Aguilar
Historian - Natalie King

**This year there will not be any fees for parents club. I would like to encourage ALL parents to attend meeting so they are well informed!! We will be asking for parent volunteers to donate items for handouts. We will also be doing a Parents Club Fundraiser as a Studio for Studio performance handouts. All parents are encouraged to purchase a PARENT T-SHIRT to wear at performances to show support!! :) Find out today how you can help the MCDA Parents be to BEST!!
